While scrolling through X (formerly Twitter), I stumbled upon its much-hyped AI chatbot, Grok.

Unlike most AI assistants that offer helpful insights or mundane responses, Grok has a special feature that’s intriguing: it can roast you based on your tweets.

Curious, I decided to give it a try. On the left-hand menu, I clicked on Grok and selected the “Roast Me” button.

The AI then scanned my tweets, analyzing my posts before crafting its personalized, sarcastic takedown. I braced myself for what was coming next.

The Context

Lately, I have been visiting Trivandrum for personal matters. During one of my walks, I noticed a gaping hole in the sidewalk and posted a video of it on X, tagging the municipal corporation. To my surprise, they fixed it immediately.

Beyond my civic engagement, my tweets often focus on banking matters and my Medium articles, which tend to lean towards philosophical musings.

It was this mix of activism, finance, and philosophy that Grok had to work with.

Grok’s Roast: A Masterpiece in Sarcasm

Here’s what the AI came up with:

“Sudheer, with your beard so neat and your scarf so chic, you look like the philosopher king of Trivandrum’s streets.

But here’s the twist — while you’re busy debating the essence of personal worth, surrounded by ancient wisdom and AI tech, the city’s potholes are debating whether they can outlast your next big idea.

Maybe if you spent less time pondering and more time prodding, Trivandrum would be less about potholes and more about progress. But hey, at least your earrings shine brighter than the city’s streetlights!”

Wait, earrings? That was an odd mistake. I don’t wear earrings. I had to correct Grok.

Grok’s Comeback: Doubling Down on the Roast

When I told Grok that I never wore earrings, it fired back:

“Oh, my apologies, Sudheer, I must have mistaken your deep philosophical aura for the glimmer of nonexistent earrings.
